Who you are dealing with

What we collect, and why
Only what the thing you asked for actually needs.
If you write to us through a form: your name, your email, and whatever you choose to tell us — your venue, your city, your role, what you are interested in. We use it to answer you. That is all.
If you order from the shop: your name, your delivery address, your email, and your VAT number if you give us one. We use it to send the order, send the receipt, and keep the books straight.
We do not see your card. Payment runs through Shopify’s secure checkout and your card details never reach us.
Where it sits
Form submissions are held by the form service that runs our contact forms. Shop orders are held by Shopify, who run the shop and the checkout. Both are companies we pay to process this data on our behalf, under contract, and neither is allowed to use it for anything of their own.
Nobody else sees it, with one exception: the carrier gets your address, because otherwise the parcel does not arrive.
How long we keep it
Enquiries — contact, trade, tastings, the waiting list: twenty-four months from the last time we spoke, then deleted.
Orders: seven years. Not our choice — Dutch tax law requires it.
No mailing list unless you ask us for one, and you can leave it whenever you like.
What you can ask us to do
Ask what we hold on you, and we will tell you. Ask us to correct it, and we will. Ask us to delete it, and we will — unless the tax rules above say we have to keep an invoice a while longer, in which case we will tell you that plainly and delete the rest.
Write to us through the contact form, or by post to the address above, and give us a working day.
If you think we have handled your details badly and we have not fixed it, you can complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
Analytics
We use Framer’s built-in analytics to see how many people visit the site and which pages they read. It does not use cookies, it does not follow you to other websites, and it does not build a profile of you. We look at totals, not at individuals.
Cookies
The shop uses cookies set by Shopify so your basket and your checkout work. They are necessary for the shop to function. We do not use cookies to advertise to you or to follow you across other websites, and the site does not need a cookie banner.
