The pantry
The same ingredients we import for professional kitchens, in formats that make sense for one person cooking at home on a Sunday.
Every product is priced at one flat rate per kilo, whichever size you buy. Fifty grams costs the same per kilo as two hundred and fifty. Small buyers usually pay a penalty for being small; here they do not, and the column on the right is there so you can check it. Prices include Dutch VAT on foodstuffs; shipping is added at payment.
Mexican vanilla, whole pods
Vanilla planifolia
Gourmet-grade Vanilla planifolia from Papantla, in Veracruz, cured by hand over months rather than dried in days. The pods stay oily and supple, and the aroma arrives in layers: chocolate and red berries first, then tobacco and cinnamon underneath. It behaves like a spice, not like a background note — use it where you would use a spice, and give it time in fat or in cream to open up.
It reaches us through Bosques Comestibles, a network of more than five hundred producing families in Mexico who farm vanilla inside standing forest rather than clearing it. We buy at origin, and we know whose hands cured what we sell.

Rosita de cacao
Quararibea funebris
The dried flower behind Oaxacan tejate. Almond blossom and marzipan. Infuse it; never grind it.

Vanilla extract, vanilla powder, seeds and pure agave syrup, combined into something denser than extract alone. AAA grade, seeds visible, carried in pure agave.

The toolbox
Objects we designed for our own work, modelled and produced in house, and then made a few extra of. Nothing here exists because a supplier offered it — each one started as a shape a dish needed and nobody sold. One for now; the silicone moulds follow when they are ready.
BREAD CUTTER
Designed and made in house
We had this cut in metal because the shape we wanted did not exist. It cuts one thing, and it cuts it perfectly, which is the entire argument for a custom tool.

PRICES AND VAT
All prices include Dutch VAT on foodstuffs. Shipping is added at checkout and shown before you pay. Business buyers can add a VAT number at checkout.
DELIVERY
We post within one working day of payment clearing. Netherlands one to two working days, rest of Europe three to six. You get a tracking link with your receipt.
RETURNS
The fourteen-day right of withdrawal does not apply to food that spoils or ages quickly, and it does not apply to sealed food once the seal is broken. It does apply to the tools.
IF SOMETHING IS WRONG
Damaged, late or not what you ordered: write to us within a week of delivery and we replace it or refund it. No forms.
